As soon as the –ber months comes in and Christmas season approaches, a lot of activities are held all over this city. For one, Pueblo de Oro conducted some activities that are in line with this month’s celebration.

PODC in collaboration with their sponsors had a one week activity in the Masterson Mile parking lot area. For one whole week, that was from December 10-16, 2012, they held a Park and Sell event in which variety of stuff are displayed and sold there. Businessmen and entrepreneurs of Cagayan de Oro City joined in the said activity where in they have displayed all their stuff from clothes to food.

A recreational activity was also conducted by Pueblo de Oro last December 15, 2012. It was an aerobics and zumba fun dance. These dances are popularly known to be an exercise method to stay fit and healthy. It was participated by people of different ages and body sizes. This event was made to help our fellow Kagay-anons who were affected by Typhoon Pablo.

The one week Christmas affair was a success. Buyers, sellers and participants of the fun dance sure did have a great time and at the same time they have also helped other people. And that’s the true essence of Christmas; helping and giving. Merry Christmas indeed!
